Co-authored with BC geologist Stan Leaming, this is an important personal record of how the jade industry began in the early 1960s and grew to be the largest in the world by the late 1980s. The book also covers other jade sites in North America, and takes the reader on a series of expeditions to remote jade sites around the world -- Labrador, western China, Siberia, Taiwan, south New Zealand and more.
